Michelle has 18 years experience as a family lawyer and heads up the Family Department at the Suffolk office. She enjoys the varied work involved in being a family solicitor and the fact that every case is different and individual. She has previously worked for two large firms in Norfolk and Suffolk.
Michelle started out in law as a qualified legal secretary, but knew she wanted to become a lawyer from the outset, and studied part-time continuously for 12 years while working, to qualify as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1996 and a Solicitor in 2002 after studying at De Montfort University in Leicester.
Michelle has two daughters, aged 2 and 11, (where the age gap works surprisingly well most of the time!), two cats and a multitude of fish in 3 aquariums and a pond. She loves horse riding and all animals. She also enjoys socialising with friends and family, reading, aqua-aerobics, sudoko, travelling abroad and canoeing, snorkeling and diving in warmer seas. Michelle also enjoys doing charity events that sometimes involve abseiling down buildings and assault courses.
