After completing her undergraduate degree, followed by an MSc at the LSE (in Comparative Politics), Bella became a campaigns manager supporting victims of press abuse.

The knowledge and experience gained from this work motivated Bella to study for the GDL in parallel with her campaigns post.  She then completed her LPC at The University of Law in 2018, achieving a distinction.

Bella gained experience at Atkins Thomson, at a medium sized firm, and at a Magic circle firm, before starting her training contract with Atkins Thomson in August 2018.

Bella assists across all departments and has represented a variety of clients. In addition, she works closely with Mark Thomson on a variety of defamation, harassment and privacy matters, and in bringing phone hacking claims against News Group Newspapers. She also assists Graham Atkins on a range of commercial litigation matters, and James Heath as lead solicitor for the claimant group against Mirror Group Newspapers.
